Wave Sailing Ramp 30

I had the pleasure of wave sailing with the local big dogs at Ramp 30 on Thursday.  Winds were 25-30mph side off.  Sailed my 104L with a 4.2.  Keith, Andy, Bill, Ralph, Ken and others made the challenging conditions look easy. That's me headed out and Ken surfing in.  Photo courtesy of Ralph.

Kickin the Summertime Blues on Hatteras Island

A nice Bermuda High sent us 5 days of strong SW winds.  4.2 on the 85L ExoWave.

Crash and Burn at Canadian Hole July 2012

This is what happens when a 30 mph gust and a piece of chop hit you in the middle of a jibe.  Hey, if you're not falling, you're not having fun and not progressing.

Forward dismount with a half twist.

There Ain't No Cure for the Summertime Blues

This song is ranked number 73 on Rolling Stone's Greatest Songs of All Time.  Written by the great rock pioneer Eddie Cochran in 1958 and covered by many artists including The Who above.
